Information on how the Layered Curriculum® method of instruction works in my classroom can be found under the other information menu on the top right of this page. The Layered Curriculum Philosophy link will give you a quick overview of the system and the Layered Curriculum Handbook link will bring up a copy of the handbook given to students (Microsoft Word 2000 format).
Selecting your class from the menu above gives you access to the following:
This Week: Contains detailed daily plans for the current week including lesson objectives, prior knowledge, class activities, assignment, and assessment of objective. Lesson plans will be updated every Saturday.
Monthly Calendar: Contains a short overview of the topic covered in class, activities done in class, and what the assignment was.
Handouts: Contains the unit sheets, notes outlines, and any other handouts from class. AP Biology students will find study aids on this page. Documents will either be in Microsoft Word 2000 (doc) or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) form.
Labs: Contains descriptions of the laboraotry activities performed in class.
Pictures: Contains pictures from class labs and activities.
Syllabus: Contains the course syllabus in Microsoft Word 2000 form.
